Currently one of Dacia Grace's favorite songs to sing is one that I learned in youth group many years ago at Hope Church. Like many other of her favorite songs she can be heard singing this song anywhere at anytime....the grocery store, the library, at church when another song is being sung. But today wellll....
After receiving correction for disobeying Mommy, Dacia Grace was supposed to pray to Jesus and tell Him what she had done wrong and ask Him to forgive her.
"Dear Jesus, I pray that you come back soon so that Mommy will not spank me for disobeying you. Amen!"
Okay, now for the question of the day. How does one keep a straight face after such a prayer as that?

What a sweet song, and what a sweet, funny comment from your little girl. It must be such a joy living in your home... you always seem to have a song in your heart and you are sharing it with Dacia Grace!!!
That is so cute. I don't know if I could keep a straight face. I have a hard enough time now when we tell Jaden no and he smiles. Cute and funny but not funny!
So cute! I'm not sure how one would keep a straight face with a prayer like that.
P.S. I wanted to thank you for your comments on my blog some time ago. It has meant a lot to me, and I have reflected back on it several times.
Have you seen the inner side of my bottom lip lately!?!?!? THAT is the only way I keep a strait face when Vienna does such things!! :) Tee hee hee
